They shimmered when light reflected on their white skin; but they were too big to be passed as diamonds… They contained the memories of the best road trip and adventure he ever had in his life. They came from the white river beds of river Teesta at Kalimpong, Sikkim and were a memoir of all the feelings of ups and downs, joy and fear, excitement and adrenaline rush he had experienced while river rafting with his best friends… Whenever he would feel like reliving the moment back, he would hold the two stones and their touch would take him back to the cold green waters, calm and uninhabited river beds, the red boat, the pristine blue skies, the common jokes shared, the laughter on their faces, and the happiness they shared together… Friends who had gone far and away… His mom threw away the useless stones while cleaning the cupboard
